Repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand!

It is time for all denominations of Christianity to REPENT. The Kingdom of God is coming and we have fallen off the true path. God is going to be revealing Himself to the entire world. There will be no mistaking it.

Do you know what repent means? It means to turn away. Repent from our sins means to turn from them. STOP DOING IT. Repent is not just saying I'm sorry God and continuing to repeat the same sin. We repent and turn form our sins.

We need to get on our knees and repent. Repent from all our idols. Ask God to remove them by force if necessary. We need to rid our lives of any and all idols. We need to get on our knees and ask God to reveal the idols in our life. Then we must repent of them.

We need to get rid of the idol of WEALTH. Most Christians spend too much time thinking about money. We have a love affair with the accumulation of money. What is my neighbor making? What is my brother making? How do I stack up to other people at work? Do I have enough to retire early? How much do I need to save to retire by 65? What newest model car is the best? What are the latest fashions from Paris? I have to have the best tattoo. The list never ends. We must get on our knees and ask the Father to remove this idol from our lives.

We need to get rid of the idol of POWER. This includes the preachers out there. We are all so worried that someone else will get the upper hand in our relationship, even if that is just the relationship of driving on the same freeway! We must stop the worship of power. Stop the obsession with Hollywood and its stars. Stop the accumulation of Power for the sake of Power! We need to repent and ask God to destroy this idol in our lives. We need to surrender to Christ. He needs to be the only Power we are concerned with. We need to fully surrender our lives to Him.

We need to get rid of the idol of SEX. Ask God to remove this idol from our lives. Get on your knees and pray for God's deliverance right now.

We need to get rid of the idol of CHILDREN. They should not be the most important thing in our lives, Christ should be. They are important, but our children should not be the center of our universe. Repent and ask God to remove this idol from your life.

We need to repent from RELIGION. Yes that is right; we need to repent from religion. Right now religion is the biggest idol that faces Christians today. We feel we must be busy all the time. We need to all get on our knees and ask God to reveal the truth of our religious activity. Is it for Christ or with Christ? If we are acting for Christ, there is a good possibility that we are not acting with Christ. Get on your knees and ask God what activities you should be doing. The answer might surprise you. When I asked God that question He answered "none of the above". I was doing it all on my own for Christ, not with Him.

The number one issue we face today is Idolatry. Ask Christ to fill your life with Him and not your idols. Ask Him to reveal your idols. Ask him for forgiveness and deliverance from the idols in your life. Then make it a habit to daily pray that Christ will reveal the idols in your life.
